Fire arrow
It is thought that the fire arrow was a three-barreled gun which used stone projectiles and the like were fired by exploding the projectiles inside the barrels, similar to a shotgun.
The bullets made of stone or metal were excavated from the Katsuren Castle site.
According to historical documents, it is known that firearms were introduced to the Ryukyu Islands from China in the 15th century, and that firearms were used in the Ryukyu Islands before the introduction of guns to Tanegashima Island in Japan in the 16th century.
